Photo Sessions

At Your Home
Every family wants to have that special studio portrait on their wall but it's not always easy to find the time to take the whole family to a studio. I can solve that problem by taking the studio to you. For an At Home Photo Shoot, I can come to your home and set up my Mobile Photography Studio. Make sure you let me  know what style of photography suits your family. And don't forget to relax and enjoy the experience.

Communions/Confirmations
For that special day in a child's life where they become the center of attention. It’s a big day and a lot of preparation goes into getting everyone to Mass looking their best.  Photographs taken in the family home before everyone leaves have a special feel to them that is unique to this time in your family’s life. You need to be available at least 20 minutes before you need to leave for Mass and the session will include a full range of individual pictures and groups of siblings, parents, grandparents, god parents and anyone else who is in the house that morning. At the church is where mostly informal, candid pictures of the children meeting, greeting each other and waiting for Mass to start.  They are a wonderful set of images which capture the excitement and preparation that goes in to the day.

Commercial
If your company needs a quotation for a commercial job, please contact me and I would be happy to provide you with, what I believe, will be your most competitive quote. At your request, we will provide a portfolio of jobs completed to date.

Newborn
I love photographing Newborns  and delight in capturing memories for parents of this special time in their lives preserving all those tiny details and expressions .
To Schedule .
Please call to book as soon as you get home , the ideal days are between day 5 and day 10 .Newborns are best photographed before they are two weeks old . This is the optimum time to capture the curled up sleepy newborn poses , after this age they are more awake and can develop baby acne. Newborn Sessions are never rushed . Expect your session to last between 2-3 hours to allow for nappy changes comforting and feeding . Dress your baby in a simple babygrow for the session studio to avoid marking the delicate skin . Newborns are best photographed in bare skin or in a cute hat or knitted item from our props collection. Parents may also be included in the photographs if you wish. Sleeping babies are easiest to pose, so we will spend lots of time rocking and shushing baby to sleep! If you have a special interest or hobby, tell me about it, and we can decide how to creatively reflect that in a picture.

Engagement
The engagement session is the ideal time for us to get to know each other before your wedding.  A relaxed session is best, in a setting where you feel comfortable.  We will spend about an hour together, walking, talking, laughing and capturing some great romantic moments.

Family
Together, we will spend approximately 1-2 hours at a suitable location at or near my home, or within the Gananoque/Kingston area I like to plan for this length of time to give everyone time to relax and get comfortable being in front of the camera, so that I can capture an image that reflects your true personality.  An ideal family session involves a walk through a favourite park, or stopping by locations that have important meaning to you and your loved ones.

Wedding
I believe that your wedding day doesn't just start when you say "I do",  so I will meet you to capture those priceless moments as you prepare- from the details of your jewellery and shoes, to that final moment when your bridesmaid or mother fastens your wedding gown.   I will take pictures before and during the ceremony.  After the ceremony, I recommend planning for at least 1 hour at a location of your choice taking posed photos. If you want me to stay to capture those funny moments during speeches, that romantic first dance, or candids of your guests at the reception, I can stay for your dinner and through the first hour of the dance or the cutting of the cake, whichever happens last.

Trash the Dress
The latest trend in wedding photos… don't box up your dress and hide it in a closet somewhere- be fun, be creative- you'll never wear that dress again, so TRASH IT!  Come alone, come with your groom  or come with your bridesmaids.  We can meet the day after your wedding, or when you get back from your honeymoon.  We can be as creative as you want to be.  We can hit the beach, take a stroll through the woods, or find a location that suits your unique personality. Let's spend a couple of hours together having some fun.  We can get it "just a wee bit" dirty in a location that you didn't want to risk on your wedding day, or we can take it all the way crazy and turn it into an art show!

Events
Whether its a Debs, Birthday Party, Product launches, or sporting event . I aim to make your event Memorable and add that extra sparkle to your event. You alway remember where a photograph was taken, it brings back all the great memories of the  good times  and fun you had at an event. So why not enhance your event with professionaly taken photos, which can be printed on the spot using the latest technologies. So if your running an event and would like to add that extra sparkle, whether it’s a social event, a charity event, a product launch, a sports event or any other event give me a call to add that something special.
